Available Venues - MONSU & Monash

Please note that no venue hire bookings for on-campus functions will be processed until a Function Fact Sheet has been submitted by the club. There is no need to submit a Function Fact Sheet if the venue hire is just for a club meeting. If you have any questions about the Venue Booking System, please contact the Clubs & Culture Coordinator Elise.Pongrac@monsu.org

Monash

Clubs may book teaching spaces and building foyers through Monash University Venues by filling in the new Online Booking Request Form.

Please note that the paper form system will no longer be used and there is no need to contact the Clubs & Culture Coordinator or your Mentor for a signature.

If you are unable to access the system, please contact Elise Pongrac at Elise.Pongrac@monsu.org for more information.

Tutorial rooms, lecture theatres and the K Building foyers may be used for free when booked for club use. The H Building foyer, conference rooms and exhibition areas can often be negotiated to be booked for a reduced fee.

Use of Monash University audiovisual equipment, tables and chairs in foyers will usually incur a fee.

Booking the Common Lawn and the Common Lawn BBQ

According to Monash policy, the entire Common Lawn cannot be booked by one club or one person. It is meant to be for the use of all students and staff. However, in the Function Fact Sheet under the BEIMS Request, the club still needs to indicate whether the lawn is going to be used for their function.

To book the Common Lawn BBQ (Located outside Building N and H), there is a Common Lawn BBQ Booking Form that needs to be completed and submitted to the Facilities and Services Office (T1.05). The Club should also indicate in the Function Fact Sheet that they are booking the Common Lawn BBQ.
