Its like Arts Club, but a little bit fancy :).

2010 is a year of changes. New name, New committee, New ideas!

At CAS we believe in having cost effective 'good clean' fun ;) The new committee is pumped and ready for 2010 so get on down and join up during O-Week while sampling some (infamous) sangria and have a chat :) We are a friendly bunch! Then make sure you come along to the events, meet new people, learn new things it's sure to be a wicked year :)!

Monash Art and Design Society (MADsoc)

Are you a Madsoc? We're a group of passionate artists and designers in training, providing fun times and career opportunities. Come to drawing classes for practice and advice, our movie nights for a wind down after a long day at uni, and our to our pub crawls to wind down... The unique thing about Madsoc is that we not only provide fun activities but opportunities to exhibit, either at our artist run space MadCUBE, or get experience selling your pieces at our annual Market Stall.

It doesn't matter what course you are doing if you have an interest in art and design or simply would like to lend your support to the arts, everybody's welcome!

Monash University Business and Commerce Students' Society (BCSS)

Welcome to the BCSS

BCSS is brand spanking new to Monash! This society is especially for, but not limited to, commerce and business students and will be one of the largest non-compulsory societies at Monash University.

It's a result of a strategic merge between two of Monash's largest clubs - the Economics and Commerce Students Society and the Accounting and Commerce Student Society with the aim to bring you even bigger and better events in 2010!

The most important question to ask, when deciding whether to join us, is what can the BCSS do for you? Initially, the BCSS will provide you with countless discounted social events through which we aim to expand your friendship group and ensure your time at University is memorable. Our Social events include:

  • First Year Camp
  • Booze Cruise
  • Commerce Ball
  • Campus BBQ's
  • Trivia Night with Melbourne CSS
  • After Exams Parties (AXP)

As you near the end of your degree, the BCSS takes on another important role in your progression to full time employment. Over the past 10 years our society has developed a strong relationship with many of Melbourne 's most prestigious financial institutions, and it is through these contacts that the BCSS facilitates your smooth transition towards employment. Our Professional events include:

  • Corporate Cocktails Evenings (both for Graduate and Vacation students)
  • Firm Sponsored Competitions (including a Tax competition, Marketing Case study, Share trading competition)
  • Mock Interview Program
  • 1st Year Students information session
  • Annual Careers Guide Publication
  • Corporate BBQs

Caulfield Information Technology Association (CITA)

The purpose of CITA is to create a community at Caulfield for IT students. The club is also open to all those who are interested in computing or any other aspect of IT.

The social aspects of the club will be implemented by arranging various activities for members such as gaming competitions, computer skill development activities, movie nights and information seminars with industry experts.

As we are a new club, look out for our first BBQ which will be happening soon!

Monash Marketing Students Society (MMSS)

Entering its 38th year of operation the MMSS continues to deliver value to the marketing and business students studying at Caulfield, Clayton, Berwick and Peninsula campuses. The MMSS runs an active program of educational and social events throughout the academic year.

With the social calendar including Pub Crawls, a Booze Cruise and ending with the infamous annual ball in second semester, the MMSS continues to deliver the BIGGEST and BEST events for its members.

MMSS also facilitates MINDS, the Marketing Industry Development Scheme. MINDS is aimed at bridging the gap between marketing academia and the marketing industry. MINDS offers industry development seminars; intimate workshops with industry professionals; jobs direct to your inbox and a Corporate Cocktails evening.

The mission of the MBA Association is to improve the overall quality and value of the MBA experience through:

  • Representing the student body in decision making
