Welcome to MONSU Clubs & Societies!
Joe Choy Caulfield Clubs Officer 2009 Hey welcome to clubs and societies! My name is Joe and I'm your Clubs officer for ‘09. I’m here to make sure you have an awesome time with clubs! Clubs are a fantastic way to meet new friends and expand your social network. They are the perfect opportunity to get involved and have fun on campus. Whether you are a new or returning student, you should take this opportunity to check out what they have on offer. We have a diverse range of clubs ranging from social, cultural, interests, careers and much more! There's one for everyone so there's no excuse not to join! A great way to start is O'fest (2-5th March), MONSU Caulfield's biggest event of the year. All the clubs will have their own marquees set up on the common lawn, with a chance to show you what they are about! Membership costs around $10-$15 per member for most clubs, and the great ones have freebies and showbags to give out to members. If you miss out on O'Fest, don't despair, check out the student experience handbook for further info. If you have any questions or ideas on how we could make clubs better, shoot me and email and drop by my office behind lvl 2 service desk :) Get involved and make the most out of your uni! Cheers, Your Clubs Officer 2009 Email: clubs@monsucaulfield.com.au Phone: 0403 703881
I Nickyy Thomas Clubs & Culture Coordinator University life is much more than going to lectures, slaving over assignments and worrying about exams. Your university experience should be fun as well! Clubs are a great way to get more out of your university experience by providing social activities and career development opportunities. Being involved in a club committee will give you new skills in management, organisation and teamwork that can improve your employment opportunities after university. Monash Caulfield is very lucky to have a wide range of different clubs including faculty-based clubs, international clubs, spiritual clubs as well as sporting clubs. There are clubs to suit many interests and if there isn't one that you would like, you can start one yourself! This part of the MONSU Caulfield website is dedicated to clubs and we encourage you to have a look at what the different clubs offer. The site also provides information and resources for existing clubs as well as information about starting a new club. Please feel free to contact me with any enquirers regarding clubs. Kind Regards, Nickyy Thomas
