Anne Zhu

 Clubs Officer 2008

Welcome to an exciting year ahead with clubs & societies!

G’day I’m Anne and yes, I’m normal albeit I could be in denial. But then again, that’s how I roll.

Get in the action in 2008 by signing up to join some great clubs. It’s the perfect way to make new friends, network with potential employers, and in general make your experience at Monash University THE best experience!

The best place to start is O-Fest, brought to you by MONSU Caulfield YOUR student union. All the clubs will be set up on the lawn and you can sign up for memberships then and there! Just don’t forget to bring some $$$. It costs around $10-$15 per membership depending on which non-sport club you join, and often more for the sporting clubs.
Have a good look at this clubs guide since it’ll give you all the information you need prior to O-Fest to decide which clubs you would be interested in.

If you still need more information, drop by my office in the student union building or shoot through an email to clubs@monsucaulfield.org.au

Have a great year and make your experience at uni a memorable one!

Nickyy Thomas

Clubs & Culture Coordinator

University life is much more than going to lectures, slaving over assignments and worrying about exams. Your university experience should be fun as well!

Clubs are a great way to get more out of your university experience by providing social activities and career development opportunities.  Being involved in a club committee will give you new skills in management, organisation and teamwork that can improve your employment opportunities after university.

Monash Caulfield is very lucky to have a wide range of different clubs including faculty-based clubs, international clubs, spiritual clubs as well as sporting clubs. There are clubs to suit many interests and if there isn't one that you would like, you can start one yourself!

This part of the MONSU Caulfield website is dedicated to clubs and we encourage you to have a look at what the different clubs offer. The site also provides information and resources for existing clubs as well as information about starting a new club.

As your Clubs Coordinator it is my responsibility to ensure that clubs are as successful as possible.  My goal is to serve the student community on the Caulfield Campus of Monash University and to be a central contact point for students who are interested in getting involved in clubs.  I really enjoy my role here at MONSU Caulfield so I look forward to hearing from you and working with you!

Please feel free to contact me with any enquirers regarding clubs.

Kind Regards,

Nickyy Thomas
