Clubs Training Dates for 2008-2009 CommitteesCompulsory Training Sessions for Committee Members Committee members in the top 4 executive positions are required to attend the appropriate training session. At training the requirements of the position will be explained, you will be given information about how to meet these requirements and provided with resources to assist you. Please email the Clubs Coordinator if you intend on attending a training session. This assists us in preparing the correct amount of training handbooks and other documents. Thank you! Certificate Courses Clubs and Societies often hold events that involve the provision of food and alcohol. In order to be aware of your legal obligations and meet the duty of care to your members, we recommend that at least one member of your committee have the following qualifications. If you attended these courses independently they would cost between $60 to $85 each. At MONSU Caulfield we are able to offer them to you at a significant discount, at around $40 to $45 each. These Certificates are recognised by the hospitality industry and are required if you want to work at a venue that serves food and alcohol, so they can help you get a job too!
